Head of International Development

Eyeworks Touchdown is seeking a Head of International Development to oversee the development and production of its formats in other markets as well as lead its development team in New Zealand and Australia. The successful applicant will have extensive television development and production experience and be capable of taking an idea and turning it into a television format. they will liaise with Eyeworks Touchdown's formats and programs in the international market.
The position is based in Auckland but will involve some international travel.

Successful applicants will have prior experience working as a production manager in the following areas:

Maintaining a production budget and providing weekly budget reports
-
Organising all crew bookings including overseas requirements for carnets, visas, film permits etc
-
Managing the commitment diary on behalf of the producer
-
Looking after all release forms for talent and locations and filing of risk assessment forms
-
Being involved in post production, which will include liaising closely with the segment producers in delivery of programme to the broadcaster

Creation of production manual pre-shoot and compilation of production bible post shoot
-
Filing of music returns
And:

Be flexible with working hours – this is not a 9-5 position

Work effectively under pressure and to deadline

Have a high level of computer literacy

Have excellent verbal communication and time management skills

Have excellent attention to detail
